Pixie Lott’s Feet are searched ALOT

Although Pixie Lott is better known for her music career, the singer has branched out into TV and theater in the past two years. Last year, she played the part of Holly Golightly in a special 12 week season of Breakfast at Tiffany’s at London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket. The play received mixed reviews. Some reviews said Lott sparkled at times, but failed to shine due to the script.  Fortunately, her new TV spot had better reception by the public. Since November last year, she has coached on the Voice Kids UK. It is said that 4.2 million viewers tuned in with a peak of 4.6million.

It’s clear from the singer’s ratings, her Instagram followers of 554k and Twitter followers of 1.7 million that she’s very much loved by the nation, but it isn’t just her sunny smile that has attracted all the attention, it’s also her feet. Pixie isn’t shy about her showing off her feet and it’s easy to see why. The sylvette singer stands at 5’8” and has a US shoe size of 8 which is a UK size of 7.5. Although Wikifeet states the singer is a US size 9.

Nonetheless, the singer’s feet are on the smaller side for her height and always beautifully pedicured, making her newsworthy. We look at five fun celebrity facts about this singer’s dainty feet.

1. She loves feet selfies.

Pixie Lott is well known to post photos of her pedicures and her favorite pair of shoes. She is one of the few celebrities that regularly post what is referred to as ‘feet selfies’ or a self shot/self styled photos of her feet. This is fast becoming one of the biggest trends on social media. Both David Cameron and Barack Obama have been caught in their wives’ feet selfies for anniversary photos.

Ever ahead of the trend, Pixie has been posting photos of her feet as early as 2013. One of the earliest postings on social media date back to 2013, when she captioned an Instagram photo of her Moschino shoes with this update, “My week has also featured tired feet but amazing shoes! What do you think cats?!! “@Moschino #HappyFeet #fridayphoto. News site, Celebrity Toob observed,“Lott seems to be very aware that the best outfits must be complete all the way down to the toes, and she is sure never to neglect her feet.”

2. She once considered getting a tattoo on the bottom of foot…

In an interview in 2010, the singer said she considered getting a tattoo in tribute to her fans, but she wanted to get it somewhere no one could see it. Addressing her fans as “crazy cats” she thought she might follow Lady Gaga’s lead and get a tattoo in honor of them. The singer said she was “thinking of testing it out”, but it admitted “it would be a bit pointless” as no one would be able to see it. Though the singer currently has no tattoos (that are known to the public), she did once tattoo her signature on an adoring fan’s leg. The singer was in Greece with her friends, when she met the fan, who asked her to ink her signature with a tattoo pen. Never one to disappoint, Lott agreed though later admitted the experience was rather odd.

3. She loves quirky footwear by UK designer, Sophia Webster.

Pixie’s love of quirky footwear is well documented thanks to her liking of feet selfies. Though she favors a strappy stiletto heel, she also loves statement flats. During her stint as Holly Golightly in the west end production of Breakfast at Tiffany’s she was spotted exiting the theater after the performance in bespoke UK designer, Sophia Webster butterfly heels. This isn’t the first time Pixie has been spotted in the designer’s heels. She uploaded an post to Instagram with the designer’s “Girl Talk” slingback heels a few years back.  In 2014, she was spotted wearing the designer’s more demure ‘Coco Pumps” at the Brit Awards.

4. The singer’s loves going barefoot

Pixie has been consistently snapped without her shoes on since the start of her career. Whether she’s performing barefoot or walking in London from a night out, the singer is not shy about ditching her heels, preferring comfort to tired feet.

Most recently she was snapped walking with a friend back to her fiance, Oliver Cheshire’s car. Previously, the singer has also been snapped performing barefoot during a rugby match between Saracens and Harlequins in 2015. She was also forced to ditch her skyscraper shoes in 2014 after arriving at Monaco’s Amber Lounge in sky high heels for her performance later that night.

5. She keeps her feel aligned with yoga

Pixie has followed various workouts over the years, but her love for yoga continues. This spring, she posted a snap of her in Bali on a yoga mat with the caption, “’What a happy way to start the day. Namaste.” The singer has admitted she finds going to the gym boring and prefers ballet and yoga. Pixie has been spotted doing meditation with Oliver Cheshire on holiday. She also shared a snap of her holiday in California with an impressive head behind back pose.

Yoga might just be one of the singer’s secrets to maintaining her slim figure, perfect posture and amazing feet. Yoga poses like Downward-Face Dog can heal and prevent foot problems and improve overall alignment. According to Yoga Journal, when you spread your toes, you are creating a stable base for ‘Tree pose’ and ‘Eagle Pose’.
